It seems to me that you could simply tell "Cortana" to turn herself off!

Harry, I just couldn't help myself. I would suggest you remove your hearing
aids and just start typing. LOL
Thx, Albert

Hi all,
Using Windows 10 Creators version and jaws 18.
I have a problem, Cortana in on my computer, and of course she is on
everybody's computer, but anyway, when I press the windows key, Cortana pops
up, and I don't want her to pop up, I just want the windows search box to
pop up.
Anyone know how to get rid of Cortana so when I press the windows key, I'll
just get the search box?
Harry
