Are you looking for sterio headphones, or communications headphones?
I'm also looking for a good set of communications headphones.  I see that 
MFJ has a set that has volume controls for each ear.

I am almost deaf so they should be loud.
I wouldlike to have a strong cord becaaaause I keep breaking the cords.

but high volump output withlow distortion is themain thing.
