Bob and all:
My understanding is that what will be made available is a money identifier,
not a money counting machine.
I too have my name on the list to receive a money identifier.

Contact your contact person at the BTBL Talking book library. They = started
taking names for a list on Sept 2. Might be a few months before = you get
it.=20
I have my name on the list already.=20

Subject: OT - Accessible Money Counting Machine
Hi!
=20
I think I heard that the US Treasury was going to give out blind =
accessible money counting machines this month. Does anyone know more about
this?
Presumably, these are money counters like those used in a bank, but with
some sort of audio (or maybe computer) output. Failing any knowledge =
about this, more generally does anyone know where something like this can be
gotten? I am *not* talking about things like iPhone apps or things like
that here: a true accessible counting machine is what I am looking for.

Thanks,
Richard
