I wasn't listening until about 5 minutes before the hour. But I doubt I
would have heard you, given the amount of absorption that has been going on.

Subject: Today's 20-meter net
Hi, all.
I tried to check into the 20-meter cross-country blind ops net from here at
the home QTH this afternoon, but was obviously not successful.
For whatever reason, 20 meters simply isn't good for me at this time of the
year.
During the 15 minutes or so that I listened for the net and tried to check
in, I only heard two stations. One was an N7 station from Wyoming, and the
other was a station from Port Richey, Florida.
They both had very loud signals, and I probably could have been relayed into
the net by either station, but I decided against asking them to do so,
because I was hearing so few signals.
I did throw my call out several times, but I don't think I was recognized or
heard by any of the regulars if they were out there.
Hopefully, 20 will get better for me as we get into the Fall.
