Tom, the reason I programmed it with the computer is my nephew was helping
me and he had limited time.
Now I am trying to learn as much as I can.

You just need to reprogram that channel and replace what's in there now.
There's plenty of good feedback on the 2000 so it won't be a problem. I
think your biggest problem may be doing all this via computer as you're not
learning to use the radio itself. If your computer goes down you'll have
nothing. I've got a 2000 and don't even have it hooked up to a computer. I
saved my channels to an sd card so I don't have to start from scratch if I
have to do a reset or something but I originally programmed them by hand.
You'll appreciate a little extra work now to learn the rig later when you're
the guy that can make it work when others are crying about not having
computer access.
