Hi List,

I asked this question on another list and have gotten no response so
far. Since this list is famous for off topic posts--even though I don't
like doing this--I thought I would join the crowd. So here goes.

About 2 months ago, I was helping a friend with Udora mail and verizon
pop3. We had the appropriate 'this server requires authentication' box
checked. The outgoing port for the server should be 465, so we
unchecked the 'use port 587' box. We then highlighted the 'use
alternate port' item in the SSL choices combo box. Two months ago,
Udora seemed to find the proper port 465 for outgoing and everything was
OK--until today. Now the settings have not been changed, the system has
been restarted and so on and still, we keep getting an error message
concerning the SSL settings.

This is why I need to know if you can choose the ports manually. I do
not see any edit boxes for doing that as there are in Outlook, Outlook
Express, Thunderbird an other programs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
