It's actually pretty hard to find what you need on empowermentzone.com . 
These days, nonvisualdevelopment.org is probably the best place for blind 
programmers.  But for learning how to make software accessible, one needs to 
go to Microsoft's accessibility site, and also look at the developers' 
sections of AI Squared/GW Micro and Freedom Scientific.  If developing for 
portable devices, Google and Apple have some good resources.  But adapting 
an existing program isn't easy.

number of tips for programming for the blind developer. There are also =
tips for those developers who aren't blind but may need to be conversant =
