I would give serious consideration to the Olympus Digital Recorders e.g
DS-50, DS-40, DS-30, and others in theOlympusline of digital recorders that
are very small, quite blind user friendly and provide voice guideance. Often
they can be found on eBay for a very reasonable price.

Is it large?=20
Is it complicated?
Do you have to look at a menu?
How much is it?
Where did you get it?

I have been very happy with the pocket Plextalk recorder but=20 wouldn't
recommend it for recording voice reminders though you=20 can use it's voice
note feature for that. It is also a pretty=20 good unit for recording live
music because it can use the 44.1 16=20 bit stereo mode producing wav files
that you can edit on your=20 computer. I'm sure that other units like the
Edi-role and Zoom=20 might have better pre-amp's but the Pocket Plextalk
does alright. =20 Jim WA6EKS
