HRD is a multifunction computer aided transceiver package designed to work with most of the more modern (and computer supported) radios. It has logging, spectrum display (the waterfall) and digital communications packages all built into one application. with the waterfall on, the application will not be blind friendly at all (I know, I tested it with both jaws and NVDA). you can disable that in the initial configuration, but some of the functions won't work quite as expected (like the digital modes).

Now, I have attempted to contact the developers of HRD, but because of the convoluted layout and some inaccessible features of the site, I was unable to get any contact info. so, unless I can contact them, I don't see a reason to blow $49.99 on their paid product. They really do need to consider us blind hams as part of the overall community (which, it seems that most software developers either can't or won't do).

hope this helps.
