Hi, everyone.

Due to what seems to be a lack of interest and willing volunteers, my local
radio club will not be holding a field day operation this year.

However, I plan to operate from the RV camp site this week-end.

Since our club's call (N 8 O E) is not being used, and since I'm the trustee
of that call, I have asked our club President for his permission to let me
use the call. It is a great CW call, and is a lot of fun to use.

If I don't get the President's blessing to use the N 8 O E call, I will use
my own call.

One other detail that is yet to be worked out is whether the operation will
be 1 or 2 Alpha. This will be determined sometime tomorrow, when I find out
whether one of my close ham friends will set up another station out there as
well.

Whatever happens, I plan to do a mainly CW operation on 20 and 40 meters,
but will probably do some phone as well just for variety.

Will look for any list members who want to work me.
