The FCC's proposed rule-making, RM-11708
(supported by the ARRL), that would open up the CW/Data subbands to
high-baud rate data signals that could be more than 2 KHz wide. The
potential for interference to our CW operations would be very significant
under this proposal and the NAQCC has filed an official objection to
RM-11708 with the FCC. An excellent source of information on the details
of RM-11708 and it's ramifications can be found at
http://www.savecw.com/RM11708Default2.htm
You will also find easy to
follow instructions on that web site on how to file a comment with the
FCC.
