If you get talking books and have a player from the Library of Congress, your library will give you a pair of earphones for your player. You then will need an adapter mini phone plug to standard quarter inch plug.

I used to use my Bose earphones but I used them so much that sooner or later something would go wrong with them and it cost too much to replace them when they are out of warrantee.

Most earphones I used to buy malfunctioned after a while because the cables are so thin and eventually short out.

I like the ones from the Library as they are much tougher.

Subject: Headphones Recommendation Needed

I'm in need of a new set of headphones and was wondering if anyone
has some he/she really likes. They would be used with my Kenwood
TS-590. I see the Kenwood HS-5 at HRO and will probably get hose if
no one has a suggestion for something I might like better.
