Yes, I use a way old version on Windows 7 to program my Yaesu
VX5R. A friend bought a VX7 a few years ago, I installed his
software to see how it worked with WindowEyes and it was just
crap. I contacted both companies and got no where. So, I bought
another used VX5R to keep as a spare and still keep plugging
along with the old RT software version I can't remember, and it
works fine. 73, Jim WA6EKS

Subject: RT Systems Software

Has anyone used the RT systems software to program a radio? I
bought the
Icom software and it sure isn't. It seems like I recall that
others on this
list tried Chirp and it wasn't' accessible. So I am hoping RT
Systems is.
Thanks and 73
