Mark,
You should be able to connect to ky2d-r assuming your Echolink is working
with other stations. If you have never used Echolink, you need to either set
up a proxy or do some port forwarding on your home router. I won't get into
that since you may have already done that setup.
The ky2d-r Echolink is on all the time although I may not be listening. Feel
free to try to connect any time before the next net so you have it worked
out before we hold the next net.
