The cheap Radio Shack talking watch has a stopwatch function.

Howard, Idealy, I would really like to find one of those ancient
LC1 talking
time clocks made by Sharp in the late 1970's, but that's out of
the
question. I use the stopwatch function to keep track of time
while I am
practicing my trumpet. In short, a desk top or handheld
stopwatch would be
fine. Jim WA6EKS

Jim,

Are you looking for a hold-in-your-hand type stopwatch or is a
wristwatch
that contains a stopwatch function OK?

Thanks Howard, yup, I am still looking for one. I wonder if
it's
the same unit that Speak to me has? Do you have one and if so,
how do you like it? Thanks, Jim WA6EKS

I found this, maybe you did to.

I did a Amazon search.

Four alarm talking watch with stop watch and count down timer.
Independant Living Aids.
$19.95.

I know this is off topic for radio, but there's a lot of smarts
on this list so I am asking for your collective help here.
Over the years, I have had several talking time clocks by
Sharpe.
I think they were called the LC 1. They were made in the 1970's
and have discrete components in them. Anyway, I really like the
way the entire unit functioned, especially the stopwatch. My
last clock just gave it up without notice. I know the
BrailleNotes have a stopwatch but am looking for a small stand
alone one like that old talking time. Does anyone here know if
such a thing exists and where to get it? Thanks and 73, Jim
