Try pressing alt-vs. while in winamp, to see if the video window displays 
the video.
I spent two hours today, fighting with a Braille display.  The solution was 
to re-install the driver, for the second time.  Somehow the install was 
corrupt with no notice, but that fixed the problem.  Give it a try.
