Maryland will have two weeks as W1AW/3. The first of these is the last week
in June, through July 1. During Field Day, the huge multi-op,
multi-transmitter W3AO operation will be W1AW/3 on SSB, CW and digital modes
on all of the non-WARC bands. There will be other operations outside the
27-hour Field Day period, as well.
I have arranged with W3LPL to take a turn as W1AW/3 on 3 different 3-hour
periods surrounding Field Day, concentrating on working DX, but working
anybody I can hear. I don't know what exact frequencies I will use, and
things could come up which would preclude some of this. But my plan is for
Saturday, June 28, 0200-0459Z, 20-meter SSB. (Friday night).
Saturday 1500-1759Z, 15-meter CW
Sunday June 29, 2100-2359Z, 15-meter SSB.
I Hope to work at least a few of you during those periods.
There will be another week in mid-August; we will be planning that schedule
later.
