Thanks, Jim.
Now I have another thing to look forward to the next time we our visiting
our son and his family, who live just outside of St. Louis!

From a quick google search:

Tom, I don't think it's in St. Charles, but I'm wanting to say Brentwood but
I don't think that's correct.
It could be a real dangerous think as it's a pretty large store I think. I
don't know if they still do, but they used to have a station set up so you
could operate. I bought my first Kenwood radio from them--the 520 back in
about 1980. I didn't go to the store, however, they had a display at our
ham fest in Springfield and I saw the radio and wanted it, of course. So
they just put one in the mail for me. That was a nice litle radio.
Speaking of St. Louis, do you have plans to come this direction anytime
soom?
How is the new RV? I'll bet it's nice and more room and all. A great way
to spend weekends. Are you near water out there? That would be my idea of
a great place. I love the water!
We'll chat later.
My mood is better this past few days. I don't feel so unsettled and
frustrated. This weekend is going to be a little difficult with mother's
day, but I got through Easter and I'll get through this. I have a lot of
firsts to go through this first year. I am getting excited about Vegas. I
think it will be fun.
I don't know if I told you but I've been doing some online training with the
Mac, and it helps. I'm using Blind Access Training and the guy who does the
MacBook stuff is located in Canada. I like the Mac a lot, but it really
takes some getting used to. It is so very different from the PC and JAWS.
VoiceOver is so much more responsive but you have more combinations of keys
to use to perform the various functions. It reads PDF files very well. I
like using Pandora a lot better with it too.

Kris:
I'll ask my son about Gateway Electronics, and will look it up on our GPS
when we are down that way again.
If it's in or anywhere near St. Louis itself, it wouldn't be very far at all
from where he lives.
Could be a dangerous thing, though! (smile)

Tom, I believe the store in St. Louis is called Gateway Electronics. I
don't remember exactly where it is but I can ask John and I'm sure he knows.
It's a really nice store from what I've heard. They've been around a long
time. Your son would probably know where they are, too.

Eric:
Where is the radio store in Missouri you referred to in your last note?
My son and his family live near St. Louis, and I wonder if, by chance, it
is anywhere near there.

HI Christoph,
Thanks for your very detailed and helpful note.
For now I think I'll stick with the two Alex loops that I have and maybe
consider purchasing the one that the Radio Store in Missouri sells.
If I decide to do more research on the Baby Loop I'll let you know.
Thanks once again for the help,
73,
Eric
