Hello John, thanks for the note.  I guessed that most of the participants
were vertically polarized, and also running rather low power.  I have a 9
element six meter monobander from M Square and it is up at about 85 feet.  I
was also running about 1300 watts at the time.  Most of the net were pretty
weak over on the north west part of Phoenix.  I'll try to check in again.
