Hi

Well, I am not sure if it is cheaper, but you may want to find a parts rig 
on ebay or the like. I did this with a power supply. All I wanted was the 
face plate. Well, now I have a bunch of other replacement parts if I have 
the misfortune to need them. Smile.

Transitors for about $162.  Wondering if there might be others that =
