Teach your son how to have integrity and character.  The baseball will take 
care of its self.
Kick balls are good, they roll and when he hits them with a bat, they go a 
long way.  A beeping baseball is a wonderful thing if you still can find 
one.
Get him in to teaball and see if he likes it.  Usually the transportation 
problem is a bigger problem than the ball.
The most important thing is to be there.
