Kris,

Sorry to hear about this.  I went through the same thing when my 78 year 
old mother died on Christmas Eve 2009.  it had just been me and her  for 
several decades, so a big change for me.   It took about a year to get 
my feet back under me,  so don't rush things.   It will take time, but 
you will come through ok.
