You definitely don’t need sighted help to turn on cw readout.
Just put the following into the macro tester
in the KX3 programmer, with the KX3 connected:
mn071;mpXXX;mn255;
where XXX is a number between 192 and 199, starting with 10 WPM at 192 and
going up in 5 WPM increments.
