Based on personal experience, I have found a number of Yahoo
e-mail
lists difficult to join, because of how the subscription process
is set up.
I therefore feel that going this route would have to be done
carefully, so
as to not loose anyone in the transition.

I personally think its time for sweeping changes.
I think we've tried many work arounds/text configurations to
prevent the
=20s and they don't seem to work.
Also, I think attachments could be permissible or at the very
least, a
yahoogroup could be set up where files can be posted.
I really don't think this needs to be a big step by step contact
the current
moderator, just set up a yahoo group where files can be shared
and lets get
a couple of moderators who are willing to moderate it.
For those that want to keep this one can and those that don't,
can join the
new one.
I'm a member of the ft102 yahoogroup and there's no problems with
sending
from a mac, windows or linux machine or smart phone. Everyone
controls their
own membership settings.
Lets go. LOL
