Well, there were two issues here.

First, Jim Gammon's link was killed by this stupid list's insertions of 
multiple equal signs.  So, take those out and the multi-line link should 
work as I have pasted below.

The second problem is Gene Fleeman's wording of the petition.  He says audio 
or tactile buttons.  On a lot of appliances, this will mislead a 
manufacturer into thinking that just having a tactile feature will suffice. 
Nothing could be further from the truth when operating the more 
sophisticated appliances like microwaves, surround-sound receivers, advanced 
washer and dryers, etc. that have menus that need to be read.  In my 
opinion, it should have stated that any item that relies on a display 
incorporate a way to read that information audibly.
