Hi!

I use Jaws 13 and Windows 7. Randomly, I get the Jaws startup wizard thing
at login, but I've not found a solution for that. It happens only
occasionally; not all the time. It's a minor annoyance, so I just pound
through it.

As far as the Outlook Express happening, I cannot provide any advice there
since I don't use it.

Upgrading to Windows 7 Professional is recommended.

73,
Richard KK6MRH

Subject: OT question

Our fellow list member, KB5FNW is having some computer problems. I think
his computer was compromised a short while back, and what's happening is
that every few days his settings in Outlook Express mysteriously drop out.
Then we have to reenter them and they last for a few days and then they drop
out again and have to be reentered.

Also, sometimes when he reboots, the Jaws start up wizard comes up and we
have to reset those settings as well. He is using Jaws 14, and Windows XP.
I know XP is no longer being supported and I don't think Microsoft Security
Essentials is either, but if anyone has any ideas, I can pass them along to
him. This is something I have never encountered before myself. Thanks and
73.
Harvey
