mlb and firefox.
I think I found the problem, and the solutionn might be useful for other 
firefox users.
I was getting "unable to start shockwave" messages when I started firefox.
After doing a web search, the recommendation was to reset firefox.
The trick is getting it to load so you can get to the help menu.
After thrashing around, I got it to run and found reset under help trouble 
shooting, it is the first tab.  Their is a dialog there, and resetting the 
program to its defaults seemed to have worked and kept my favorites history 
and passwords.
