Hi

I just looked up the wireman and found they have a ground rod for $14.95.
This is exciting because I wasn't sure how I was getting an 8 foot rod home
from the store. Now I am wondering what the shipping is on such a thing.
They said it was extra, but did not give any other details.

I also have purchased from the Wireman.  Their website is not that great. 
The nice lady there will help you on the phone.  As mentioned, they will 
make custom cables with connectors on each end or just one end.

The cables with connectors installed are reasonable, the price of the cable 
per foot plus the cost of connectors plus around $4 to install the 
connectors.  I think there is a price break at ten connectors so you will 
get that better price even though they are installed on cables.
