Dear carmela,

I would like to welcome you to the list and introduce myself.

I am Linda Knight and I've been a ham operator for a bit over 2 years and
studying for my General.

I live in a condo and we can't have an antenna outside so I got the
following from universal radio out of ohio.
Hustler MX-270

The Hustler MX-270 is a quality 2 meter and 440 MHz mobile antenna
providing 2.4/4.0 dB gain. It covers 144-148 and 440-450 MHz. The MX-270
features
a low-loss 50 ohm NMO type magnetic mount. This antenna can handle up to
100 watts. Coax cable to a PL-259 plug is supplied.

I have this antenna in my kitchen hooked to an additional link of coaxial
cable. The mag mount is sitting on a cookie sheet.

I have a Kenwood TMV71A dual band radio with power supply.

I get great reception on both 2 meter and 440.

Welcome and I hope to get to know you!

I am in new port richey fl.

Hugs and 73
