He is truly a loving God. Who gave his only begotten son, that we might
live forever with him in glory. Otherwise we would never be allowed that
privilege. But, just as we have free will, and can reject that wonderful
gift, and he will never stand in the way of that freedom of choice which he
gave to our first parents, he will allow us to reap the consequences of our
actions. He who sews the wind shall reap the whirlwind, and he who gives
generously to others will reap abundantly of God's marvelous treasure. Both
here on earth, and in heaven above. It is God's law. God has instructed
us in his holy word. If we don't follow his prescripts we shall surely reap
the consequences of our foolish actions. That is why it would behoove us
all to obey such a loving God as is our God.
