If you buy it from the bike dream sight which is out of Kentucky, the 3
seater was $2,175.
There is a place in Florida and I want to say that they were quoting over
$3,000 for the same bike.
I don't know why.
When they say 3 seater though, it means a two seater with a little space
inbetween the two sets of peddles.
We could always fit a kid in the middle when we had mine as a kid but it's
not 3 seated comfortably, but it is possible.
There is a seat on front too, which is more or less a chair facing forward
made of plastic tubing, or strips?
Kind of like conduant you see on electrical wires ropped across kind of like
some lawn chairs you see but their is a metal frame those are tied too.
Which I may cut a bord for and put a seat up their for Kate.
I am thinking of trying to fix her a harnis on that seat between us though
and run a bord along the back of the bench seat inbetween the top and bottom
cushions, so that she can't slip out the opening their.
Terri and I drove it around the circle here twice while ago when her brother
and father were here to watch the baby.
It works well for her and she's able to steer well.
They came and helpped me get the reer view mirrors and the top on it.
They were out of the cloths which stretch over the top bars and are sending
me one when they have them in stock again but the cage or bars for the cloth
is on now.
The headlights they give you are cheap and we couldn't get them to work so
we didn't bother to put them on and I am going to look at raideo shack for
some better ones.
They are independant lights, which just strap on to the frame work of the
bike, and each light runs on two double a batters and have a switch on each
light which you flip on and off.
The bike came with square reflecters mounted on back and they send you
reflectors which you just screw on to your spokes. red in back and orange in
front.
I don't know why the color difference from front and back but the guy told
me point blank that this was how they were to go on their so their's got to
be a reason.
There are two steering wheels, the one on the right actually steers it but
the one on the left turns freely and is a dummy which I guess is just their
for the other person to rest their hands on while they peddle.
So it's not left side drive as most american cars are.
This is more than you asked for but that's all the info I can think of now.
You spend a lot of time stopped and talking to people.
Two or 3 people just in the neighborhood had to stop and ask us all about it
and say how it was great that we had it for transportation now.
Take Care,
Matt
