Jim, what cushcraft vertical antenna do you use? Also, do you remember the
length? Thanks

Mike, I am using one of those antennas here on 80 through 10 meters. It's
82 feet long which works fine on our property which is a rather small lot.
I am impressed with the rugged construction though I wonder about the fact
that they use solid copper rather than stranded copper wire. I can't give
you any scientific stat's on it, like comparisons with other dipoles, but I
like it. I also use a Cushcraft vertical on 20 through 10 meters and
switch between it and the DXCC antenna. It seems to depend on the
distance from stations, and general band conditions which antenna works
best at any given time. Anyway, that's my 1.5 cents on the DXCC antenna.
