John,
To change what spots you get, you have to login to the cluster by telnet and
set filters. An overview can be found at:
http://dxspots.com/
Here's a helpful list of all the various telnet commands to the DX cluster.
The show or set filter is the part you need. At the bottom of this web page,
there's a whole section on setting filters. It was what I used to turn off
2M, 6M, and 160M spots when I started using the spotting feature in ACLog.

Subject: ACLOG - DX Spotting
Hello All
I am using DXSPOTS.COM in AC Log. How can I set a filter not to allow 6
Meter spots since I am not using 6.
