I'm sure you will do fine on 20 meters, and there are always a number
of relay stations to help out if someone has trouble hearing W3IUU in
maryland. If I'm not mistaken, you are in the far west and that
should preclude you getting into the 40 meter roundtable on Saturdays.
Nothing to do with lack of station, just time of day on that band
limits check-ins to the eastern half of the country.
