I have always thought of the radio hobby to be kind of like fishing.  When 
you turn on a radio, you never know exactly what you will find.  The 
efficiency of 100 watts of CW is comparable to that of 1600 watts of 
sideband, so you can do a lot with a little.
That would make 10 watts of CW equal to 250 watts of sideband.
Their is so much to do and so much to learn.
