Phil, I'd replied to you off list. My call was WA0LKM, and I worked WA0ODH
along with WA0DAG, Mary's call at that time, many times on 75 meters.

Subject: Iowa Club Call

Boy Lloyd,

I never got even close to that club call in my memory but I recognized it as
soon as I read it. I was thinking Jim's home call was WA0L something or
other. I remember talking to you guys occasionally on 75 meters both from
Nebraska city, although we were operating portable zero since we had no club
call registered, and from my home in Omaha once and awhile. Lynn, WA0ODH,
talked with Mary, and a few others, about every day as I recall. He
admitted he had a crush on her and even back then, when calling on the
telephone long distance was so expensive, he'd call and talk with her on the
landline. Lynn passed away a number of years ago. Of course, I was WA0ORO
back then and didn't change calls to AF0H till about 1978 or 79. It has
been reissued, too, and I had AF0H for 18 years. My current call I got in
November of 1996.

Phil.
