Hi
Well, one of the reasons I stay on this list is because they do allow off
topic posts. The truth is, this list is similar to a ham radio on air rag
chew/round table. Ham radio on air would be very boring if it only consisted
of discussing radio. The social aspect of radio is what attracted me to the
hobby, not the technical details.

Oh yes yes yes.
Sorry but besides the technical problems which will never be fectified
on this list it would be wonderful to have a list where the topic is ham
or shortwave radio or public service scanners and not all the other off
topic posts we have to put up with .
Yes the delete key works but it is far from unreasonable to ask for a
list that stays on topic.
You wouldnt be happy if you borrowed a book from your local library
about investing in the stock market and you had to find the information
you wanted among recipes knittting patterns etc.
Just common sense.
