I did provide the answer to your question, and I certainly didn't imply that
you shouldn't ask any questions.
And as Pat says, I am simply encouraging you to do things from the front
pannel and not via software.
No one, including me, has any kind of problem with questions about a radio
that many of us are familiar with. If you do read my posts, I am a fairly
regular contributor to this list and have answered many questions for many
people over the past 10 years.
I am a long time ts2000 owner, and so I can easily answer, off the top of my
head any questions you may have about the rig.
I apologize if the tone of my email was a bit brusk but I am sending emails
from work today and it's fairly busy...but I did take the time to answer
your question as best I could and offer an opinion and some friendly advice.
I did not mean to imply that you aren't trying to learn how to program the
radio sans computer or that you shouldn't come to the list with any
questions at all about this process.
However, if you feel that my messages or responses to your questions are in
no way valuable to what you are trying to do, feel free to hit the good old
delete key when you see my name...It certainly won't bother me.
