Yes Tom it certainly would.  The only other thing I could suggest is to
press those keys individually until you hear numlock on and then press it
again so it says numlock off.

Regarding the num lock key, the very top row on this particular laptop only
has three keys, not four.

Wouldn't standardization of these things be nice??
