Hi.

Let me describe one of these gadgets. It was a talking calculator, one of
the first that came out. It's speech was very robotic, and if you remember
Battle Star Galactica, the cylons sounded like the calculator. It used
rechargeable batteries, had an 8 digit LED display, and if you exceeded what
the calculator could display, it used a form of scientific notation. I had
one of these for about three years when I lived in West Chester, OH, near
Cincinnati. I'd like to get a working one of these if possible. If I
can't, but someone has a tape of what this thing sounded like, that would
work too. To make this ham related, I used this calculator to take my
Novice and General tests, which I passed.

I know of another device that used the same speech as the calculator, and if
I can't get one this would work as well. It was a game center that TSI
produced. It had a game where you'd try to enter numbers that the device
said, and you had a set time to do so. It also had a kind of pong game in
it. The Seeing Eye had one of these, and it was fun to play with.

In short, I'm looking for either one of these devices. If anyone knows
where I can get my grubby hands on one of these I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
