Yards or feet?  50 yards is 150 feet which gives you plenty of space for 
a g5 rv or a multiband dipole.  If you're talking feet, that is small. 
Our lot was very small when I lived in Las Vegas, I think 60 by 100 
maybe.  I had a telescoping mast at one end of the houst and put up a 
multiband dipole which went from front to back wall of our property.  It 
did get me on the air.
