Tom,
Someone locally is telling me to set the default mode in the
settings menu.
Problem is, I'm not seeing a default mode setting option
anywhere in that menu.

Mike:
I have no idea why you are seeing what you are seeing here.
I didn't seem to have the problem when I did my W1AW/8
operation, but I did
it all in SSB phone.
You are now making me wonder whether my general A C Log for
my W1AW
Centennial contacts is doing the same thing. I always check
the log entry
info for every contact, but I certainly could have missed
something.
This is a question you might want to ask Scott Davis
himself, since I don't
think it's a Jaws issue.
If you need Scott's e-mail address, just let me know and
I'll forward it to
you.

When I began my W1AW shift yesterday, I set the mode to CW
with the first
contact.
A few contacts later, the mode changes to PH all by itself.
I set the next contact to CW, and it changes again, etc.
Anybody know what's going on here, and how can I make it
stop doing that?
Editing all those modes is going to be a first class pain.
