I also recommend that you use a volt meter and check the voltage to the
transceiver. It should be between 13.5 and 13.8, but also check it both
under load and under no load to see the change. It will change, but the
voltage drop under maximum load should be very little. You should make these
checks before you try to make any changes to your power supply. If you
conclude that you need to make an adjustment to your power supply, It should
not exceed 14 volts under no load.
