I don't have all that many going out either. I feed the SteppIr with Andrew
AVA5(7/8 hard line) to LMR600, the 9 element six meter yagi with LMR900DB to
LMR600, 75M inverted V with Andrew LDF4(half inch hard line) to LMR400, and
a Bird dummy load with Andrew LDF4. I have 2 Diamond dual-banders fed with
LMR400DB, but those runs exit the shack in a separate location so they can't
be confused with the HF runs. If I am having trouble identifying a run, I
use a pinger to trace the run. A small transmitter is connected to the
shield or center conductor of a run, and you trace the run with a hand held
receiver. As you move along the feed line, a pinging is heard. If you go
off course, the pinging obviously stops signifying that you are on an
unrelated run. That tool has saved my butt countless times, HiHi.

I don't mark my coax cables, there aren't enough of them to need to. The 7/8
hard line goes to 900 MHz from the feed through panel, the LMr400 goes to
the dual bander, the longer RG213 for the HF vertical and the shorter 213 to
the HF wire. Hmmm, I forgot the LMR400 for the dual bander I use for packet
but I never disconnect that one anyway and that's real short so it wouldn't
reach any other radios not to mention I use a Motorola radio on packet so I
can just leave the adapter from SO-239 to mini PL-259 on it if needed.
That's from my feed through panel in to the radios, outside, is just a mess.
