Hi Kelvin,

I wasn't very clear.  What I should have said is that when I plug 
paddles into the winkeyer, the paddles operate the TS-590.  I don't 
know exactly how the winkey operates the TS-590.  I have the key1 
line on the Winkeyer connected to the straight key jack on the TS-590 
and the USB jack on the Winkey connected to a USB jack on the 
computer.  Perhaps the computer is bypassed completely when using paddles.
