Hi Eric,
That sounds suspicious. Seems like when they relized that the package was
compromised, they should have red flagged it and waited for a response from
you. The monkeys that work for UPS are famous for not handling packages
well. I had to go through 4 generators, being shipped from Maryland to WNY
before I got one that was good. The package showed damage like it had been
dropped. The second one was backed
into by a fork truck and the third was missing parts. The company stood
behind all of the extra shipping. I did not shell out any funds. The
company was at falt as well. They only put the generator in a single
thickness box with no stirafoam around it. It took a few weeks to resolve,
but I kept at it. Keep all informed and 73. Gary KB2YAA

the package was insured for $600 (replacement cost for the radio). I =
asked the gentleman at the repair point about the origin; packaging and =
was told that it had been discarded immediately after the radio had =
arrived (apparently they have prompt trash pickup there in NY as it was =
gone less than 2 hours later, about the time I called in fact).
