Jim,
You have let the cat out of the bag - the Chocolate Chip Cookie
as
Reflector and Director has been under study for many years. It
has
been scientifically proven that Giardelli dark chocolate chips
enhance the gain by .5 db but suffer a shorter life span.

Linda, I definitely think your antenna would work best on the
cookie sheet, on top of the filing cabinet. Here's why, be sure
and surround the Mag Mount with fresh baked, hot out of the
oven, chocolate chip cookies! If they are placed regularly around
the antenna then you will get an omni-directional field from your
transmissions. If on the other-hand, you position more cookies
on say the west side of the tray, then the signal will tend to be
beamed in that direction, unless of course the cookies absorb
more of the radiation from your rig in which case the signals
might be stronger beaming from the east side. Actually, I have
never tried this experiment because by time I was ready to do it,
the cookies had all been eaten. Maybe someone else on the list
can shed some crumbs on this theory. I know others have said
just to stick the antenna directly on the filing cabinet but I
prefer my idea, smile. 73, Jim WA6EKS

I have a cookie sheet-but I also have a filing cabinet. How bout
this. Would
this be ok? we don't have an attic. We live on a restricted
planet.
Can I put the cookie sheet on the filing cabinet?
