Hello all,
My name is Boomer Olsen, and I am the founder of the advocacy nonprofit,
Celiac Disease Money Squeeze (CDMS). I created CDMS to lobby for the
establishment of formal medical coverage for gluten-free nutrition therapy
for people with celiac disease in the United States.
Celiac Disease Money Squeeze is compiling a collection of personal stories
from celiac sufferers titled *Member Stories*. The purpose of the series is
to help the non-celiac community to understand the challenges that celiac
patients face, such as: the excessive costs of a gluten free diet, a
potentially burdensome and costly diagnosis process, the challenge to
educate yourself about a gluten-free diet, and so on. *Member Stories* can
be short or long, but we recommend that they are 100 - 200 words
(approximately one or two short paragraphs). Full or first names will be
included only upon the explicit consent as requested by the contributor. I
have posted my own *Member Story* as example; you can view it here (

You can submit your own story to [log in to unmask]
