E-skip signals are usually fairly strong and have a lot of QSB. Back
scatter signals often have a hollow, reverberant sound and are fairly weak
but steady. Meteor scatter signals can be like sporadic-E, but the opening
will only last a minute or less.

Hard to tell if it was back scatter, or e-skip. For some reason, their is
e-skip in December, as well as May June, and July. I have never known why.
