Short answer:  No need to unzip; the software does it for you and will copy it to cartridge/SD card for you, if you wish.

I found it to be easier to use than the Humanware Companion software, but as always, your mileage may vary.

One important question that I forgot too ask in my last post regarding Bard express is, When using this application, when you finish downloading a book into your downloads folder is, are you still required too unzip the book before you can copy it too a flash drive?

The National Library Service has developed some software to make it easier to download BARD books and copy them to an NLS player cartridge.

At this point, the app is for Windows computers only.

I just learned about it on Twitter, and I haven't tried it out. I'm posting in case others here want to check it out for themselves or for their clients.
